Uniflexplus+ ducting: A compact solution.
Uniflexplus+ is an easy to install semi-rigid ducting system with a small vertical footprint.
The range consists of several sizes of distribution boxes, semi-rigid ducting, and diffusers, for a variety of applications and airflow requirements.
How does it compare to other ducting?
If you need a compact, robust ducting system that is quick and easy to install, few options are better than Uniflexplus+. The system can be built with 90mm round, 69mm round, or 52x132mm rectangular ducting.
This ducting is significantly more airtight than traditional metal ducting. The 90mm system being three times more airtight, and the 69mm ducting being over 9 times more airtight. This makes uniflex an ideal solution for those chasing energy efficiency.
How do you install Uniflexplus+?
Our quick tips:
Thanks to its few components and ‘click’ system, installing Uniflexplus+ is very straightforward. All you need to do is:
1. Fasten distribution boxes and valve collectors (diffuser adaptors)
2. Cut ducts to size (make sure to use the duct knife for simple and airtight connections)
3. Click the ducts in the distribution boxes and collectors
4. Fasten the ducts with the brackets
5. Place the valves (diffusers) and balance the system
Ideal applications:
While possible to use in retrofits, Uniflexplus+ is best when installed during the build phase.
It is designed for use in apartments, townhouses, and homes with limited ceiling space, and is particularly useful for ventilating buildings with restricted floor, wall, or ceiling spaces.
Uniflexplus+ is also safe to bury, and can be installed and set within concrete.
