Terms and Conditions for SmartVent’s Accredited Installer Cashback Promotion. This promotion is valid for SmartVent Accredited installers ONLY.

1. Promotion Period:

  • The promotion begins on 2 February 2026 and ends on 31 March 2026 ("Promotion Period"). All systems must be purchased from the wholesaler between these dates to be eligible.
  • All systems must be installed between 2 February 2026 and the 30 April 2026 to be eligible (“Installation Period”).
  • All eligible installations must be registered between 2 February 2026 and 30 April 2026 (“Registration Period”).
  • All dates apply to the 2026 calendar year only.

2. Eligibility:

  • The promotion is open to SmartVent accredited installers only.
  • If an electrician is not currently a SmartVent Accredited installer they can become an accredited installer before the end of the Registration Period to make all previous registrations eligible.
  • Cashbacks are limited to 1 per project.
  • Installations must be for individual homes and not for housing developments or commercial projects.
  • Entrants must be legal residents of New Zealand.
  • Employees of Simx, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  • This promotion is limited to registered electricians purchasing SmartVent systems through an electrical wholesale account.
  • Systems must be purchased within the Promotion Period, installed within the Installation Period, and registered within the Registration Period.
  • This promotion is only available for the following systems: SmartVent Positive3, SmartVent Positive Advance, Vent-Axia Econiq and the SmartVent Balance (both must be purchased in same order if two items listed).
  • This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

3. How to Enter:

  • To enter the promotion an electrician must purchase one of the qualifying systems on their wholesale account during the Promotion Period. That system must then be installed and invoiced to the homeowner before the end of the Installation Period. The product registration must be received by SmartVent during the Registration Period to be considered eligible.
  • Each eligible installation will automatically enter the business into the giveaway.
  • In the event of a stock shortage before the end of a promotional period – electricians should place their order with the wholesaler and provide proof of order in lieu of wholesale invoice.

4. Cashback offer:

  • The offer can be claimed against the purchase of any of the following products, and will be reimbursed at the following values (both must be purchased in same order if two items listed):

  • Offers with multiple products listed must be purchased in the same invoice to be considered valid.
  • The cashback prize is non-transferable.
  • Cashback will be provided in the form of a gift card or similar.
  • Cashbacks will be supplied following the end of the Registration Period.
  • Simx reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

5. General Conditions:

  • SmartVent reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion and these terms and conditions without notice.
  • Any changes to the promotion will be notified to participants as soon as possible by SmartVent.
  • SmartVent is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participant by any third party connected with this promotion.

6. Privacy:

  • Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current New Zealand data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

7. Limitation of Liability:

  • SmartVent accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the promotion or accepting the prize.

8. Governing Law:

  • The promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by New Zealand law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
